Meet the Pastor

Pastor Huey Turner accepted his calling to preach at 23 years old. He was the Associate Pastor at The Church of Tomorrow from 1995-2009, when he assumed the Senior Pastor role. 

His early years of ministry were steeped in religion, dedicated to doctrine. In 2013, Romans 5:20, “God’s law was given so that all people could see how sinful they were. But as people sinned more and more, God’s wonderful grace became more abundant.” became more than just words on a page. It became the cornerstone of his preaching—to let people know that the more lost they are in sin, the more God’s grace covers them. It was at that time that Pastor Huey called a board meeting to change the name of the church to what it is today, The Well. 

Through what God has done for him, Pastor Huey has an undeniable passion for telling people about the goodness of God, the love of Jesus Christ, and the power of the Holy Spirit. His own testimony makes his preaching relatable, understandable, and life-changing. 

Pastor Huey and Ashley have been married since July 2020. Together they have 7 children; Courtney, Austin, Kayley, Angelina, Emma, Alaina, and Liam. They have 3 grandchildren from their daughter Courtney and their son-in-law Jon; Kaitlyn, Austin, and Bryce. They also have 2 granddaughters from their son Austin; Journee and Brynlee. 

Pastor Huey and his wife Ashley have a love for ministering together and attending worship events. They enjoy being with family and friends, visiting new places, trying new restaurants, and spending quality time together.
